Horse Boy Method was pioneered by Rupert Isaacson, his autistic son Rowan and their Quarter Horse Mare Betsy. In 2007 Rupert, his wife Kristin and Rowan rode across Mongolia together – a journey that became the book and film “The Horse Boy”.
Since that journey the Horse Boy Foundation has helped hundreds of families in Central Texas, North America and in Europe to find the same incredible results in terms of sensory healing and direct communication with the exterior world, through horses and nature based environments.
EAGALA 12th Annual Conference in Layton Utah.
March 9 - 12, 2011
As always the EAGALA conference was an amazing experience. The Legacy Event Center hosted the arena workshops and later moved to the Davis County Event Center for the break out sessions on such subjects as addiction and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, low cost internet marketing, and grant writing.

. How You Can Help
The Stable Place is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit and all donations are tax deductable.
You can use our secure PayPal account to purchase individual lessons or lesson packages online. Your tuition helps fund programs and enrichment opportunities for others while you learn about horse behavior and build riding skills.
Looking for a one-of-a-kind gift that also supports a good cause? Our online gift shop has unique and fun items featuring photos of our horses, including note cards and magnets created by Cathie Cox. All proceeds benefit programs and horse care at The Stable Place.
Throughout history no partnership has been more valuable than that between humans and horses. This partnership helped us hunt, conquer, travel, work, develop, and survive. Our belief at The Stable Place is horses have a new purpose to serve, showing us strength and giving people the power to heal. We believe this mutually empowering relationship gives value to horses and hope to the people who work with them.
