Meisja Turner Wagner
Meisja has been riding since the age of 4 and teaching and training since 13. She has a classical horsemanship education based on safety and consistency for both horse and rider. She was a member of the USPC throughout her youth. Her training and teaching methods include those taught by the classical masters at the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria and natural horsemanship expert Pat Parelli. She has worked at barns in various countries, including Ireland and Canada, and competed in both dressage and eventing. Her horse experience is not limited to riding; she has been a professional carriage driver and has trained single horses and teams to pull a cart.
Meisja enjoys teaching riders of all ages. Children and adults alike find her coaching style fulfilling and simple to implement, creating a constructive learning experience for both horse and rider. Meisja’s quiet, firm, and steady approach to starting and schooling horses helps them to learn quickly by positive reinforcement. Her methods always endeavor promote calm, straight, supple and contented horses.
